1000 lb club calculator.
Enter a recent hard set for the squat, bench press and deadlift. The calculator estimates each one-rep max, adds them up, and shows how far your total is from 1000 lb (454 kg), using the same estimated max as the Club 1000 Plus training log.

An estimate from your sets, not a verified total. The board lists only video-reviewed one-rep maxes.
How the total is estimated
Each lift's one-rep max is estimated from the weight and reps you enter, averaging the Mayhew, Wathan and Lombardi formulas, the same way the one rep max calculator and the app's workout log do. The three estimates are added together; a kilogram total is converted at 2.2046 lb per kg before it is compared with 1000 lb.
Your best set from the last few weeks gives the most useful answer. In the Club 1000 Plus workout log, every squat, bench and deadlift set you save updates your estimated max, and the desktop progress dashboard tracks your 1000 pound club total over time.
From estimate to the board
When you are ready to make it official, the 1000+ submission standards set out the eligibility, form, equipment and video rules each lift is reviewed against. Only reviewed totals are listed.

1000 pound club questions.
What is the 1000 pound club?
The 1000 pound club (1000 lb club) is a strength milestone: your best one-rep max in the barbell back squat, bench press and deadlift adds up to 1000 lb (454 kg) or more. One way there is a 350 lb squat, 225 lb bench and 425 lb deadlift, but any combination that reaches 1000 counts.
What is 1000 lb in kilograms?
1000 lb is 453.6 kg, usually rounded to 454 kg. If you train in kilograms, choose kg above and the calculator converts your total to pounds before comparing it with 1000.
Does an estimated total count for the 1000+ board?
No. The board lists real one-rep maxes only, each reviewed on video against the published 1000+ submission standards for depth, lockout, equipment and camera angle. The estimate tells you how close you are, not whether a total is verified.
Is the 1000 pound club the only board?
No. It is one of three kinds of board, and the only one with a fixed threshold. The Challenge boards count lifting volume, cardio minutes and days logged over a rolling 30 days or all time, and the Biggest Loser board ranks by percentage of bodyweight lost. See all leaderboards.
Why does the calculator ask for bodyweight?
It is optional. A 1000 lb total means different things at different sizes, so the calculator also shows your total as a multiple of bodyweight. That ratio is how lifters of different sizes compare strength.
